General function

Planning stimulating and interesting Section meeting programs.

Primary responsibility and duties

  1. Form a committee

  2.  
  3. Prepare a program budget

  4.  
  5. Arrange plant tours, workshops, social meetings, entertainment

  6.  
  7. Make arrangements for meeting space, refreshments/dinner, AV equipment, hearing, cooling, and lights

  8.  
  9. Arrange for speakers: invitations, confirmation, accommodations, transportation; hosting during meeting

  10.  
  11. Secure Executive Board approval of the program

  12.  
  13. Serve as liaison with publicity committee prior to each meeting and for special events

  14.  
  15. Collect registration fees for meetings, issue receipts, track visitors for follow up (can share with Treasurer and membership committee or Host committee).

  17. Evaluate each program

  19. Record each meeting for inclusion in Annual Report

  20.  
  21. Plan new officer Installation program

2-3 hours each week

Meeting obligations

All Society meetings that broaden your understanding of ISA and its programming resources.

  1. Other Officers and Members: Interact with all members and leaders as needed to accomplish goals.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable about ISA and its resources; willingness to serve.

Method of appointment

Appointed by the Section President or in compliance with the Section constitution and bylaws.
